january 19

this week in science we talked about the tilt of the sun and how it effects the seasons of earth. The winter is caused by the sun be far away from the earth and it being tilted away from the sun. and summer is tilted toward the sun , and revolves closer.
we know this because we did many lunar simulations and regular simulations. also we had demonstrations in class. such as the flashlight shined directly and indirectly on the door.
this is important because now we know how the sun interferes with the earths seasons. and also i never really knew that the sun made up the seasons, i thought it all depended on the earth itself.
